SENIOR HIGH BAND - GRADES 9-12
Band is n elective instrumental music ensemble. The course offers exposure to many aspects of band to broaden a student's facility and technique on a given instrument. Music styles covered in this class are marching band music and technique, light popular music, traditional concert band musical styles, as well as the possibility of performing in stage band which explores different types of jazz and rock music. Band members are expected to participate in all band activities, concerts, parades, and district music contests.
SENIOR HIGH CHORUS:
Chorus is an elective vocal music ensemble. This class provides instruction in basic vocal technique and training as well as exposure to various vocal styles. From the general enrollment of this class will be selected a swing choir and/or other small groups. Members of this class will be expected to attend all major concerts and district music contests.
